About Collis Ta'eed

Hello! I'm a web and graphic designer who loves blogging, startups and everything about the web. I started NETTUTS in April '08 as the first sister site to our super successful PSDTUTS - photoshop tutorials site. I love making websites and hate making them cross-browser compatible, I love CSS and wish I was better at Flash, I love design and I love building, but I dislike maintenance. I'll do my best to share lots of tips from the trenches and if you know a better way to do something in one of my tutorials, please do share it in the comments!!

Today we’re going to build a simple little tabbed information box in HTML, then make it function using some simple Javascript, and then finally we’ll achieve the same thing using the jQuery library. After the massive success of PSDTUTS, it seemed like a good idea to branch out into tutorials on other subjects.
