It's great to know that I am paying over 60 thousand dollars on my school tuition to learn nothing really, and everything I need to know is here on Nettuts for free! Thanks for this tutorial Collis, and no thanks to overpriced schooling. =D

<blockquote>Awesome… Someone should do a tutorial on how to skin a wordpress from start to finish or an oscommerce. Seems to be what everyone is looking for. That would be sweet.
</blockquote>

I've been tinkering around the idea of creating a Wordpress theme from scratch, start to finish. I've written parts of it but it's a tremendous task.

As for oscommerce, I never really liked creating themes for it, neither for Zen Cart (it's derivative). I think it's more worthwhile to invest time in learning Magento - http://www.magentocommerce.com/

Would there be an interest in a Drupal "start to finish" theming tutorial?

Very awesome, Collis.

You do text replacement differently than I, and I have a different suggestion.

Instead of adding extra mark-up in the HTML, simply add "text-indent: -9999em" to the h1 tag.

I haven't encountered any problems with it, and leaves a non-needed span tag out of my HTML.
